SJUHÄRADSLEDEN/THE SJUHÄRAD TRAIL, LEGS 9 AND 10
Sjuhäradsleden, Leg 9 (11,5 km)
An easily hiked leg that starts on tarmac but goes on to small gravel roads in a beautiful landscape. Passes through small villages dating back to the Middle Ages. The river valley is cultivated land, flanked by undulating forest tracts.
Sjuhäradsleden, Leg 10 (21,3 km)
An easily hiked leg that is exclusively on roads, mostly gravel roads as far as the village of Ryfors. The last 6 km before the town of Mullsjö goes through forested land along Södra Vätterleden/South Vättern trail. This takes you to the beautiful Trollsjön (which means ‘troll lake’ in Swedish), a small beach on lake Stråken, and a 300-year-old pine forest. The trail ends at the revered Hotel Mullsjö.
